Listing down things I did after my date was current-
1: I opened an SR on July 5th (immediately after long weekend) as my date was current in July. Got back a response in a week that no visa numbers available. Either their system was not updated or they didnt check to see if dates were current.
2: Had to wait a month before I could open another SR. In first week of August I contacted local congresswoman/opened another SR. Congresswoman reply was that the case is being actively worked on.
3: Also, contacted the Ombudsman (mailed all the required docs) in 1st week of August. Got a response in early September that Ombudsman can help to improve procedural inefficiencies in USCIS or some extreme cases.
4: Sent an email to SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov on August 4th with pretty much the same details- case pending/PD etc. On same day they forwarded email to NCSCfollowup, TSC for resolution.
5: On Aug 9th got reply from NCSCfollowup, TSC that file has been requested. To allow 60 days.
6: After this I did not followup in any way. Then I got an email from NCSCfollowup, TSC on 17th September that my case review was complete, prints/security was over and my file would be forwarded to officers for completing.
7: Got approval email today (September 21st).
In my opinion the email to SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov helped the most.
If anyone needs any details on email/letter format please let me know. (Green.Tech, Saileshdude...)

May be you might have supported previous IV campaigns. I urge you to keep supporting them instead of going anything crazy like what you are planning.

Your case is one of the best glowing example that persistence to truth always pays, sometimes the path maybe tough but never give up and never say die. makes sense now.. EB3 I was 3576 in 2008 due to the spillover rule change. For 2006 and earlier Eb3 and EB2 were roughly the same?

Go to USCIS and read the instructions; these 2 are also supposed to be self filed by the immigrant himself. So instructions are clear.
So, ask him why he needs these. Most likely, he will demur and say OK.

Whatever way it is USCIS has again lived upto its July fiasco, return I 485 applications without accepting and now send the flowers away to hospitals without accepting....end of the day...no evidence left behind..

my and my wife medical was done in august last year .. will that be valid , i have read somewhere that it is valid till 1 year .. is that true .
Is there any form for Finger printing ..

I would go for medical test again just because of PPD test. According my civil surgeons office, PPD test should be with in 6 month when u file 485 otherwise you may get rfe for fresh ppd. Seems these days CIS is very particular about TB test.

Friends even I believe that looks like we will hit the Jul - Aug 2007 mark this year for EB2 things seem to be adding up well.
If we got 12K from EB1 and EB5 for the first 6 months then we should expect another 12K and even EB2 ROW usage is significantly down.

I think we going to get 8k from EB5 , 12k + from EB1 and what u think for EB2 ROW ? last year EB2 Total = 53 k - EB2 IC (25k) = 27-28k EB2 while they supposed to get 35-36k.means spill from EB2 row was 8k-10k. EB1 gave 1-2 k.

You are trying to say I can sign an application then mail it with just fee. You think they will accept without any Initial Evidence. I know about them relaxing condition on Medical. When did they relax it for all other Initial Evidence as well.
Not this time. USCIS clearly mentioned that Completed application with Signatures, Correct Fees should be sufficient. They are even accepting without medicals.

Guys:
Based on the June Bulletin, I will be filing my I485 in June.
Now, I have H1-B(with my current company till Feb'2010 that I just got approved a month back.(not stamped in passport yet)
-- Should I file EAD for myself ( I probably would want to change jobs after 180 days) ? Or is it better to be on H1-B.
-- Should I file AP for both myself and my wife(she is on H4) ?
Also, when I decide to change jobs using AC21 rule, is it better to tranfer
H1-B to a new company or if I have EAD, how does that work ?
Any inputs will be greatly appreciated..!!

If I were you, I would apply for EAD and AP for spouse and self immediately. You never know when you may need it. Say, your company announces a merger and your entire department is wiped out and you have to leave before coming Friday. It would be almost impossible to find another employer who will send the new H-1B application before Friday. In such instances EAD will help to keep you in status. EAD card for spouse will allow her to apply for SSN and thus Drivers license. AP for wife will help to travel out of country after you have used EAD. So in short, I would apply for all the docs for all members of the family. This could result in spending couple of hundred dollars but will help secure peace of mind.

I thought he might say something stupid about the Hindu Prayer disruption in Senate yesterday. However he didn't bring it up. But the way it's been going his "faux pas" (anti-Italian remarks during Italian parade in Little Italy, anti-Latino, anti-Indian and anti-Chinese remarks such as "socio-ethnic interest groups", "foriegn" and "cheap labor", "Communist China" and ofcourse the 7000 lepers in 3 years...) are all building up and sooner or later something will give.
I don't think anything would give as a big part of america can relate to all this. At the most CNN may fire him but a number of other stations would be ready to pick him up. Last thing a broadcaster wants is for people to ignore him/her. Thanks to us that is not going to be a problem for Dear Lou, and so a number of stations would love to have him just for that.

Hi guys,
How long does it take to receive RFE letter by mail? Can we get a copy of RFE letter at the InfoPass appointment. I don't have patience anymore to wait. At least they can tell us what the RFE is about on the phone. These guys are trying my patience.

Will you guys stop this madness atleast now?. If US started bending rules for people who send flowers, then everyone will try to manipulate the system. There is a lot of difference between the circumstances of originla gandhigiri and now. :rolleyes: That was our country back then, for crying out loud.We are in a foriegn country and the issuance of visa a previlege not a right.Why cant you guys understand this simple fact?. IV has asked for 2 copies, one to the President and one to IV. Couple of questions on that.
1) Does the letter addressed to the President need to be in a seperate stamped envelope?
2) What is the reason behind 2 copies?
eb3_Nepa, definitely the letter to the President has to be in a separate stamped envelope and hand written is preferable.
Reason behind 2 copies is that IV also want to collect the copies of all the letters sent out to the President. So that when we talk to the administration, we can show them how many folks are being affected because of this GC retrogressions.

Now my status changed to 'Initial Review' because post office returned my mail :confused: Within 12 hrs status changed from 'Card Production' (05.03 PM) to 'Initial Review' (06.33 AM).
