I am upto 14 letters signed, sealed and mailed to the President. I am waiting on a few more to come....It took probably an hour over the past week. Guess what...in the process I educated over 20 Americans about our issues. Guys this can have a cascading effect if we talk to people we know and get these letters. We all need to step up and actively talk to all Americans we know and get these letters. They are our support bank when its time for larger fixes and we need Americans to call their Congressman & Senators to help us.

IV should send a letter to Vonage CEO asking to put pressure on Obama and Senators to approve GCs quickly. We have been very good customers of Vonage.

Why don't you write a letter to the CEO and threaten to cancel your vonage subscription if the CEO does not help you get a green card.

Yes I had one pending and no RFE was received for either. My lawyer is expecting a notification from USCIS stating the second one is withdrawn.
Congratulations on getting GC.
I think the fact that you had same A# helped you despite multiple filings. There are cases of people where even though they have declared their second application, USCIS assigned them a second A# number.
Pls. Stick around in IV and help others with your knowledge.

I couldn't believe. Got CPO and Welcoming New Resident emails for me and my son after 10 years.

Got the Text message on my mobile on Thursday Oct 22, at 7:45 pm. But didn't see it until 23rd morning at 9:00 am. Went to church on Thursday morning, and Friday morning, and prayed ardently. Came out of the church, and just opened my cell phone, and saw the text message from uscis saying "Your case # is updated. check 'My case status' on USCIS Home Page (http://www.uscis.gov)... ".
Got the email also on Thursday evening, but saw only on Friday morning.
Mine is at TSC, spouse's moved to local USCIS a few months back, for an interview.
Went to local uscis at 3:35, but it was closed. Hope my spouse's case also approved soon by the end of this week.
Thanks a bunch to IV, will continue to give my support to IV.

I Have opened an SR on Aug 6th and then sent an email to TSC followup . I got a response from them on friday " We are currently researching this situation and will contact you with an update." HAs anybody this kind of response?

I had created two different SRs, one for myself and kids and one for my wife. The SR which I created for my wife got a response with Card Production Ordered and for the SR I created for myself, the status in the response was "currently under the review". The date was one day before my CPO mail date.
I guess you have nothing to worry. This seems to me as a standard response.

We are planning to make a trip to Hyderabad, India along with my wife and my little baby boy. After reading all of your experiences, I am not sure which one should I opt for. We have an expired Visa on passport, planning to Use AP. As we are travelling first time with the little baby boy, I am looking for some hassle free flying. Type in congressman your city name in google or yahoo search. It will give you various names for your senator and congressmen. Call them and give them your name FN LN, DOB, Alien number and fedex / delivery tracking mnumber. They will call you back with relevant information.

Where did you get the A number of the applicant? I checked my I140 approval there is no such number on it in front of Beneficiary name and in the bottom. Even in my I131 application the A number box is blank. Is there any other way to get this A number.

This is not good news. We dont know what happens in the next few weeks. Immigration is not a very high priority for everybody. The closer we go to elections the more the chances for other issues to creep into schedule. I hope they will atleast attach unused VISA numbers to some bill and tackle the immigration beast when they intend to.
