I am surprised that all other threads are getting updated quite frequently. People are posting question related to their RFE and as usual once they get answer to their problems, they vanish. People are posting jokes on IV, but when it is their turn to call, we've to "bump" this thread and send e-mails to members. So pathetic.
I felt very sad when I read 30000+ members donated some 4000 dollars in last two months. I felt my donation of about 1000 dollars since 2006 is being wasted to answer questions of or to solve the problems of these free riders &/or one question members.
Please call all Numbers except co-sponsors ...
Find people And ask everyone else also to call ...

Now USCIS is on top of July 2nd and 3rd filers, especially for the applications that were transfered from NSC to TSC. You will certainly get your receipt notices with in a week.:)

We have sent 2 magicjack's to India, one at my parents and one at in-laws....they need to have a computer and high speed internet access there. For the first yr it is costing us $40 per yr each and starting 2nd year it will cost us $20 per yr each. They call us all the time now and calls are crystal clear and you can't beat $40/year price.

gc26...., It seems that you have missed the point again. Any logical person will have the capability to comprehend that this thread is against visa abuse in L1 category.. If you still didn't get it, objective is to explore the options to report abuse of L1. Benefits are: genuine people still get the opportunity, reduce over supply in market, not bring wages down etc.

Theoretically, you are right. If DOS sees no demand per CIS, they should make it CURRENT for EB2 I/C (assuming they did clear all pre072007 inventory)

Also, per law, they don't have whole 2800 to approve in a month, or a day, they have to do it by quarters. So they don't even need 2800, if they have only 800 EB2I in inventory (demand), they don't have to make it CURRENT.
I would hope CIS inventory can how which are pre-adjudicated, which are new, which are RFEs though. Their numbers are always bigger than DOS demand, so I would think DOS has a better picture which CIS is providing (or at least estimating on a formula)

Let us talk about the "skills" introduced by H1/L1/offshore companies
a) One guy takes the phone interview for 15 other guys with "skills" they preted to have
b) Lying on the resume with "skills" that you don't have, so that you can learn the "skill" at the expense of the client
c) "Skill" in Violating B1 visa laws and sending people on B1 to do actual work to client
d) "Skill" in violating L1 law which is used to drive down the wages by 20-30%
e) "Skill" demonstrated by indian offshorers to enter into a contract with a large corporation where they will provide warm bodies in exchange for a very low billing rate. Client wouldn't have any ability to interview the incoming cosultant, which means the offshorer employee is learning at the expense of the foolish client. Then that will be touted as "savings".
f) "Skill" of fly-by-night operators to shave off 70% of the billing rate through a 6-level pyramid of contracting companies

I will send out my letters to the president and IV by the end of the week for sure, if not earlier. I like the idea of a handwritten letter, however, my handwriting may cause it to be disadvantage rather than an advantage. To err on the side of caution, I will leave the handwritten letters to people with more appealing penmanship :D
